Brief historical background

The City Dental Clinic No. 62 was opened in the Tsaritsyno district in the south of the capital in December 1997 - the year of the 850th anniversary of the city of Moscow. The opening ceremony was attended by Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov. Oleg Ivanovich Kharchenko, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Chief District dentist of the Southern Administrative District, was appointed Chief physician of the polyclinic. From 2012 to 2015, the clinic was headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Grigoryants Leon Andronikovich.

By Order of the Moscow City Health Department No. 1716-k dated 27.07.2015, Tatiana N. Novozemtseva, Candidate of Medical Sciences, doctor of the highest category, was appointed Chief physician of the State Institution "Dental Polyclinic No. 62 DZM". In recent years, as part of the modernization programs of healthcare institutions, major repairs of the polyclinic building are being carried out in stages, modern equipment is being installed (imported Italian premium dental units, digital X-ray equipment — radiovisiographs, orthopantomographs and computed tomographs, laser equipment for soft and hard tissue plastic surgery, equipment for endoscopic surgery, etc.), modern dental materials are being purchased.

Today, our polyclinic is the largest specialized medical and consulting complex in the capital, designed for 2,600 outpatient visits per day. The institution has three therapeutic departments, a physiotherapy room, a surgical dentistry department with an anesthesiology room, two orthopedic departments, a radiology department and a paid dental services department. The clinic has its own dental laboratory equipped with casting and laser welding equipment, and an equipped conference hall with 150 seats.

The staff of the polyclinic includes more than 60 general dentists and dentists, 15 dental surgeons, 36 orthopedic dentists, more than 60 dental technicians, middle and junior medical staff.

Since 2013, the main vector of development of the polyclinic has been the development of new technologies for aesthetic restorations of the dentition, minimally invasive tooth-preserving technologies for surgical treatment, dental implantation and dental prosthetics with high-tech aesthetic materials. These services are provided to patients both on a paid basis (since they are not included in the Program of state Guarantees of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund and, accordingly, are not paid for under the Compulsory Health Insurance), and on the basis of voluntary health insurance programs.

The clinic has a local computer network and is implementing a single system for managing the dental clinic Dental4Windows. This world - leading computer program provides comprehensive dental patient management with a single electronic medical record, X-ray examination data, and all related documentation. With the commissioning of the first stage of the "Electronic Schedule" of the Unified Medical Information System (EMIAS), the issue of pre-registration of patients for free treatment under compulsory health insurance has been resolved.

On the basis of the polyclinic, there are educational departments — the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (RMAPO), the I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (MSMU).

Dental conferences are held on the basis of the polyclinic, and employees of the polyclinic take part in various professional competitions of the city of Moscow. Nurses of our polyclinic became winners of city competitions of professional skills among nurses (among all medical institutions of Moscow): Mikhalenkova Olga Vladimirovna received the title of "Best Nurse of 2000", Gorina Svetlana Vlantinovna - "Best Nurse of 2009". Head of the department of paid services, PhD Litvinenko Andrey Viktorovich took the first place at the city competition of dentists in 2012 and received the title "Best dentist in Moscow".
